These calculators can be used to give you an estimate of how much the mortgage on a home purchase can save on your income taxes, how different types of loans affect payments/payoff and approximately how much of a mortgage you may qualify for. There is even a calculator that will help you compare renting vs. buying with a break-even point that will give you an idea of how long you would have to stay in a home for it to make it profitable to buy a home. I am sharing the same tools that I would use in making such an important decision. In some cases you may be unaccustomed to the terminology or what numbers you should use for the inputs so feel free to contact me with any questions.
